About Maths Solving

A focused suite of maths tools designed to be fast, private, and to actually teach you something.

Why we built this

The web has plenty of maths calculators. Most of them are slow, smothered in adverts, hide the working behind a paywall, or feel like they were built in 2009 and never updated. We wanted something different: a tightly focused set of tools that solve the problem in front of you, show the steps, and load quickly on any device. No pop-ups asking you to sign in, no "upgrade for steps" gates, no third-party trackers reading over your shoulder.

What you get

Twenty calculators across algebra, calculus, geometry, trigonometry, number theory, statistics and units. Three of them — the adaptive practice trainer, the 3D surface plotter, and the side-by-side step-and-graph explainer — are not really available anywhere else on the open web. Every tool runs in your browser. You can disconnect from the internet after the page loads and everything will keep working.

Who it is for

  • School students revising algebra, geometry and trigonometry, who need to see the working out, not just the final answer.
  • University students in the first year of a maths-heavy degree, who need fast scratch tools for calculus, linear algebra and statistics.
  • Teachers and parents who want a clean, advert-light place to send students.
  • Engineers and scientists who occasionally need to solve a quartic or invert a 6×6 matrix without firing up a desktop CAS.
  • Curious people who like to plot z = sin(√(x² + y²)) and rotate it.

How we make money

Through display advertising. Ads are placed where they do not interrupt the calculator and never inside the working steps. We do not sell email addresses, do not have email addresses, and we do not include any "sponsored" results in the search experience.
